Two different hospitality propositions
Apple cabins generally use a compact rounded form that can sit quietly within a campsite or nature project. Space capsules use a stronger futuristic identity and panoramic glazing to become part of the destination experience.
| Guest positioning | Apple cabin: practical compact stay. Space capsule: differentiated experience and landmark value. |
|---|---|
| Site planning | Compare footprint, viewing direction, privacy, spacing, housekeeping routes and utility distribution. |
| Transport | Confirm module dimensions, route limits, lifting weight, crane access and destination handling. |
| Fit-out | Define bathroom, HVAC, lighting, controls, furniture, appliances and consumable equipment. |
| Commercial comparison | Evaluate total installed cost, achievable room rate, occupancy, season and maintenance—not factory price alone. |
Choose an apple cabin when
The project needs repeatable compact rooms, a softer architectural identity, efficient site density and a practical fit-out for broad guest segments.
Choose a space capsule when
The destination relies on strong visual differentiation, premium positioning, panoramic views or a guest story that supports a higher-value accommodation product.
Neither product is automatically more profitable. Site access, local approvals, room rate, seasonality, operating costs and total installed budget determine the result.
